The ending theme to the "Revenge of Meta Knight" sub-game from Kirby Super Star is a very unique track for the Kirby series. It’s got a very western vibe to it; like a cowboy riding into sunset kinda thing...except with this it’s a pink puffball riding on a sentient motorcycle into the sunset after single-handedly taking down an entire flying battleship and defeating another puffball but he’s a swordsman with bat wings.....look, I never said the Kirby series made any sense. Nevertheless, this song is an integral part of one the most memorable and, dare I say, artistic 20 seconds of the entire Kirby series. I took serval liberties with this arrangement; if you were to go and listen to the original right now (which you totally should: • Видео ), you'd notice some discrepancies between it and what I play in the arrangement. That's mostly due to me being too lazy to actually look off the sheet music; I, as usual, just fell back on some of the recurring leitmotifs of the Kirby series. However, I'm overall satisfied with the modifications I made; now it feels less like a cover and more like an original arrangement! Also, blues riffs are weirdly compatible with this song's chord progression, thus the high-energy solo sections in the middle of the arrangement. I had super fun turning this dramatic western-sounding piece into a fast-paced bluesy swing! As I always say: "Add triplets, add grace notes, and put it in swing!" Sorry there's no discussion section in this video...basically the only things I wanted to talk about are what I put in this description, and I tried filming it but I just wasn't satisfied. I'm wondering if I should just make individual dedicated "discussion" videos instead...let me know what you think/prefer!
