This spring, we decided to return to the U.K. We stayed in Caversham, Reading, Berkshire and enjoyed our walks in the lush green parks. In this slow travel vlog video, we take the public bus to visit Reading Museum to learn more about the history of this town. We then walk to the Reading Abbey Ruins, Forbury Gardens, and in front of the Roseate Reading hotel (not sponsored). Finally, after a wonderful visit, we get some takeaway Greek food for dinner. It was fascinating to explore this part of Reading's medieval history with King Henry I's vision and the dissolution of the Reading Abbey during the reign of Henry the 8th, seeing the Reading Jail where Oscar Wilde was imprisoned, and much more. A great time at the Reading Abbey Ruins. Affiliate links below - please note I get a small commission at no extra cost to you: Need health insurance during your travels?
