Picked up this very beat up Dagger Legend 15 for fifty bucks. Complete with three holes and more added every time it goes out. Looks like the poor thing was stored in the sun since it was made in 2002. Still paddles quite well, a true classic. The Klamath doesn't see a whole lot of river traffic due to being so remote, but it should, a fine run for open canoes with many river access points thanks to Klamath National Forest. This section is from Blue Heron River Access to Rocky Point River Access and is about 8 miles long. River flows at 2,000 on the Seiad Valley gauge. The old guidebook rates one rapid class IV, but that's a stretch by modern standards. Hope you enjoy and get to paddle it one day!
