Now this is a 2.8 amp air compressor. Again, one gallon delivers .8 CFM at 90 psi. The beautiful thing about this is how portable it is, the small size, and the sound level. In a second here we’ll actually open up the drain, and we'll get the unit to kick on so you can see how quiet it is, or here how quiet it is; but, we just wanted to touch on a few points that this unit has. Right up front we've got a nice roll cage protecting the tank pressure and the regulated pressure gauges, the regulator and the AMT style quick coupler. We turn the unit on the side, you can see there's a thermal overload protection and our 1 gallon tank, and off the back the drain is real easy to get to, so you can keep the moisture out of the tank. So, we’ll actually drain some air out of this, as soon as it fires up I'll shut the drain and then you can hear how quiet the unit is. This compressor runs at 59 decibels, to give you an idea, 60 decibels is normal conversation; not a problem to have this running in the background of any room that you're working on. The ideal uses for this compressor would be someone who's a trim carpenter or doing some small pieces of trim. You're not going to want to frame a house with it, you're not going to want to redo your roof with it.
