Come and see us LIVE on our Europe Summer Tour! Get your tickets now: https://thedeaddaisies.com/summer-tou... “We’ve got a long way to go and no time to get there”, so the song goes! This is the third release from the LIVE series recorded at the world-famous venue Rock City in Nottingham, England during our Like No Other Tour in November ’21. We took the crowd on a trip down memory lane with “Long Way To Go”, the classic hit from our Make Some Noise album. It’s been a staple in the set-list at shows ever since. This Live version took on new life with Glenn’s vocals and the drive from the engine room with Tommy Clufetos on drums and the dynamic duelling guitars of Doug and David. “It’s a hard-driving rock and roll track with great significance to the world’s predicaments today. What’s really cool about the riff is the first two bars are 4×4 and the third bar is 2×4 which gives it a really interesting feel. It’s a very meaningful track to us as the music is an ode to my friend Doc Neeson and the lyrics that John Corabi came up with are very poignant”– David Lowy Influenced by 70’s and early 80’s rock, The Dead Daisies sound is soulful and accessible – equal parts of Aerosmith, Bad Company and Foreigner: muscular vocals, bluesy riffs, big choruses, powerful melodies and strong hooks. With stellar musicianship and pulverizing live shows, fans across the globe are discovering the band that is bringing back Rock & Roll!! The current incarnation of The Dead Daisies features guitarist Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), drummer Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol), bassist and singer Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Country Communion), and rhythm guitarist David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink). https://www.thedeaddaisies.com https://www.thedeaddaisies.com/merch / thedeaddaisies / thedeaddaisies / thedeaddaisies
