Hey everyone!! 🤓👋🌻 It's me @gogogracie! I've been trying to get into the groove of editing videos consistently since I moved into a Co-Living space in Kuala Lumpur. It hasn't been easy because I've also been performing at Rexperience in Chinatown - dancing in a motion capture suit! =) This Jiufen 九份 trip was such a memorable part of my Taiwan experience ESPECIALLY staying at The H& Jiufen The Ocean Theory B&B 九份海論. This hotel was really amazing and I met two American brothers who were these very worldly travelers and who encapsulated the 'voyager spirit' of the hotel's aesthetic. They were really great conversationalists- we talked about everything - from my career as a performing artist to my life decisions. Honestly, sometimes those are the best parts about traveling- meeting random people and having meaningful conversations with them that you won't get to have with friends back home who know you too well. When traveling, you are a different person- you can choose who you want to be and rewrite your story in the most positive light. Anyways, I love this video especially because Jiufen is a town made popular from the film industry- the industry which I am a part of. It was a great reminder of the power of storytelling and of what I do for my job.
