In the eighth installment of my Metro trains around Melbourne series we see Metro Trains Melbourne EMU's at various locations in and around Melbourne on the metropolitan rail network. We visit a number of new locations for the first time including Preston, Clifton Hill and Glenroy Bank. We also revisit a number of locations featured in previous videos including Victoria Park and Oak Park. We also see some X'trapolis' crossing the Gardiner tram square and see a Comeng use the old platform two at Footscray, a thing that is now history with the new Sunbury line platforms 1 & 2 opening late last month.
