In conversation with Sitaram Yechury, General Secretary, CPI-M. In this interview Mr. Yechury starts off with saying that it's the toughest time for left movement in the country. Talking about party’s structure, he said that the task to review party's organisation and question of individual accountability is not yet complete and that there would be a plenum of the party to complete this task. Mr. Sitaram Yechury in this interview told that Harkishan Singh Surjeet had influenced him in a great way and he has learnt a lot about politics and organisation from Surjeet apart from other great leaders of the party and movement. He accepted that factionalism in CPI-M’s presence in Kerala is a disease and it would be a big challenge for him to overcome it. He also didn't deny that there was a debate on the question of leadership in the party congress in which he got elected as General Secretary. Anchor: Shyam Sunder
