Our UK Rail journey has begun with our first stop in Liverpool. If you are looking for a day trip from London or just want the perfect weekend here we have tried to see as much as possible in the birthplace of the Beatles. After catching our train from London to Liverpool our first stop had to be the number 1 thing to see, the insane Superlambanana which has to be seen in person to be believed. Next up a ride on the Mersey river ferry to see the city from the water, but you know we needed our coffee first and what's better than a Beatles themed cafe called the Fab 4. A trip to Liverpool is not complete without a pp into Mathew street, where the Beatles were discovered, before popping into some vintage shops as we made our way towards the final stop - the Liverpool cathedral to see the city from above.
