केंद्रीय कैबिनेट ने वन नेशन वन इलेक्शन बिल को मंजूरी दे दी है. सूत्रों के अनुसार, यह बिल वर्तमान संसद सत्र में ही पेश किया जा सकता है. हालांकि, सत्र 20 दिसंबर तक ही है और दोनों सदनों में हंगामे की स्थिति है. बीजेपी का मानना है कि यह बिल देश के हित में है, जिससे चुनावी खर्च और समय बचेगा तथा सुरक्षा बलों की तैनाती में आसानी होगी. विपक्ष इस बिल का विरोध कर रहा है. अब देखना यह है कि क्या सरकार इसी सत्र में बिल पेश कर पाएगी. The Union Cabinet has approved the One Nation One Election Bill. According to sources, this bill can be introduced in the current Parliament session itself. However, the session is only till 20 December and there is chaos in both the houses.
