It was super fun to participate, thanks to Luigi for creating it! https://itch.io/jam/1bitober2025 - - - - 🐰 UNUSETI 1.7 about the drawing: "When I thought about creating a monstrous portrait, I was reminded of the terrifying smiling faces of the sun/moon in old movies (such as in "La lune à un mètre"), which have always terrified me. The idea was to create someone who was smiling, yet in a disturbing way. Working with Kelly Ardens (a fabulous artist), and feeling the vibes of her music, the character turned into a demon with a heart in his hands to refer to the beat of the music, and add a bloody touch!" - - - -🧁 KELLY ARDENS about the music: "When I think of terror, my first thought goes to one of my favorite authors: Edgar Allan Poe. One of his most disturbing stories for me is “The Tell-Tale Heart,” in which a murderer, in the grip of delirium, hears the heart of the victim he has just killed. That’s why I imagined a heartbeat that then becomes intense and disturbing music coming almost from hell.
