DeLaval OptiDuo Feed Pusher has ARRIVED! || Smith’s Stock Farms

The Delaval OptiDuo feed pusher has arrived at the farm! In this video, you get to see how it works. I am really impressed by it, and it is super cool! It is said to improve pounds per cow of milk because the cows will constantly be getting feed. The pusher runs 5 courses in the winter and 6 during the summer at night. During the day, we push it up using the loader, but we run the pusher at night so someone doesn’t have to do it. The pusher runs at 6:30, 9:00, 11:30, and the final round is at 2:00am.
