An Epic Year Sidemount Diving - 2024

What a great year 2024 was on my sidemount diving journey. It started with acquiring a Seacraft GO DPV which has become an essential part of my diving. Of course, the KISS Sidewinder remains my "go-to" for tech dives, especially cave diving. I did sidemount diving courses in NZ and I was able to smash out some awesome cave dives on our two trips to Mt Gambier South Australia. On the Sep trip, we also conducted a Sidemount Pros Fundamentals course and Sidemount Diving workshop at the magnificent Kilsby Sinkhole all in association with Darren Mitchell of Dive Experience who co-taught with me and handled all the logistics. Along the way, I was able to start exploring my home dive sites in Doubtless Bay and finished the year with a trip to Mooloolaba Queensland, Australia to dive the Brisbane Wreck with Steve, Lou, and Jamie.
