Game Description: Dark Dome Game Number 7 - Escape From The Shadows Escape From The Shadows" is the seventh installment in the Dark Dome escape room series. It features three protagonists: Ren Larson (The Ghost Case), Laia (Haunted Laia), and Bastian (Another Shadow). The perspective shifts between these characters as their stories intertwine. I have generalized the plot into five parts: Part 1: Ren’s Investigation Following the events of Another Shadow, Carissa asks Ren Larson to help rescue Bastian from the Penumbra. Ren investigates Bastian’s old house and discovers that witches fear upside-down brooms and open-scissor tattoos. He finds a drawing of an old cabin from the sixth game where young Bastian was once lost. Ren visits a shop to ask questions, unaware the woman there is a witch disguised as Laia. When Ren waves, showing his scissor tattoo, the witch trembles. Ren later realizes she was an impostor and that the real Laia is also trapped. He heads to the cabin. the scene shifts to Laia and Bastian. Part 2: The Dungeon In the Penumbra, Bastian finds the real Laia. She has been trapped since her own game's events, three days before Bastian arrived. They enter a ruined dungeon. Bastian mentions his brother, Ezio, who died after becoming obsessed with these dark places. A booby trap separates them, sending Laia into the underground. Bastian continues alone, eventually finding a sword to use as a lever to open an exit. However, a Shadow Mask entity stops him, claiming he will become a slave. The scene then shifts to Laia. Part 3: The Underground Laia explores the dungeon’s depths, solving puzzles by trading items with strange entities. To exit, she must obtain a permit for the guards. After completing these tasks, she is allowed to return to the surface to find Bastian. The scene shifts back to Ren Part 4: Ren’s Investigation - Cabin Ren reaches the cabin, which contains five underground floors. He solves puzzles and learns about Danyella Dash, a figure who can counter dark entities. To open a portal to the Penumbra, Ren collects three items: pink salt, a root, and Page 33. He burns them on the -5 floor, successfully opening a gateway. The scene shifts back to Laia and Bastian. Part 5: The old Chapel Laia and Bastian reunite at an old chapel. They solve a mosaic puzzle to obtain the Eye of Erduval, an artifact that emits light fatal to shadows. The Shadow Mask confronts them just as Ren’s portal opens in the background. The Endings Sad Ending: Bastian and Laia fail to act and are turned into shadow slaves. Good Ending: Bastian uses the Eye of Erduval, knocking off the entity's mask to reveal it is his brother, Ezio. Their father appears and captures them with shadow hands. He crushes Bastian’s hand, causing the Eye to roll toward Ezio. Suddenly, Ezio grabs his father and the Eye, saying, "It’s time to let it go, Dad." He activates the Eye, creating a blast that kills both him and his father. Bastian and Laia escape through Ren’s portal. Bastian reunites with Carissa, and Laia returns to her father and brother, Tony. However, the witch—now back in her own body—vows to return and curse the town again. .
