We start with cleaning the edges of the beds with a weed trimmer. Then get in there to clear around the trees any grasses or roots from other trees. We then fertilize with a pelleted chicken manure fertilizer. Next step, you guessed it, MULCH. the mulch we use is greatly dependent on what is close. you will see many examples of different types of mulch we use. After mulching we mulch some more and then plant more mulch. yes we are obsessed with mulch.
