First Day in O‘ahu! Waikīkī Adventures, Poke Hunt & Cat Café Fun 🐾🌺

Luke and I just landed in O‘ahu for our week-long Hawai‘i adventure, and we’re taking you along for our very first day in Waikīkī! 🌴 In this vlog, we check into our "home" for the week, wander the Waikīkī strip, try our first poke spots on the island, visit the cutest cat café y If you’re planning a trip to O‘ahu—especially without a rental car—this video will give you a great feel for what’s walkable, what to expect, and what food spots are worth trying. 😄 🏨 Where We Stayed 📍 OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber 2300 Kalākaua Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815 A super convenient location, especially since we didn’t have a rental car. Just a few minutes from the beach and surrounded by shops, markets, cafes, and everything you’d want in Waikīkī. Day One of the Adventure: 🍣 Poke Spot #1 – Ohana Poke House 📍 1960 Kapiolani Blvd #212D, Honolulu, HI 96826 ⭐ Good serving size, fresh fish, and tasty flavors—but the walk was a lot after a long travel day. (My feet were angry at me. 😂) In hindsight… we should’ve just taken TheBus! 🐈 Cat Café MOFF – International Market Place 📍 2330 Kalākaua Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815 Our first-ever cat café! So many adorable kitties, most of them in their post-meal food coma. The space was clean, cute, relaxing, and honestly such a vibe. Highly recommend. 🍣 Poke Spot #2 – Waikiki Market 📍 2380 Kūhiō Ave. (2nd Floor), Honolulu, HI 96815 ⭐ Our Verdict: 8.5/10 Very fresh, large chunks of fish, and lots of samples! This ended up being our favorite poke from the day. Oddly enough, we didn’t have many poke dinners on this trip—so we’re limited to our own little tasting tour! 💬 Your Turn!
