A simple recipe made with accessible ingredients that always turns out great. ⸻ 📋 INGREDIENTS Dough • 2 eggs • 70 g butter • 50 g sour cream • 100 g sugar • 2 tsp baking powder • 2-3 tbsp cocoa powder • 150 g flour Cheese Filling • 360 g cottage cheese (5-9% fat) • 2 eggs • 100 g sugar (or to taste) • 100 ml cream (15%) • 1 tbsp cornstarch Cherry Filling • 300 g frozen cherries (do not thaw) • 1 tbsp cornstarch • 1 tbsp powdered sugar (optional) ⸻ 👩🍳 PREPARATION For the dough, beat the eggs with sugar until light and fluffy. Add the melted butter and sour cream, mixing until smooth. Then add the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder, and quickly mix into a uniform dough. For the cheese filling, combine the cottage cheese, eggs, sugar, cream, and cornstarch. Blend with an immersion blender until smooth and creamy. For the cherry filling, mix the cherries with cornstarch and, if desired, powdered sugar. Use the cherries frozen, without thawing. Bake at 180°C (356°F) for about 1 hour. After baking, allow the cake to cool completely.
