ENDOSCOPIC SEPTOPLASTY WITH CONCHA BULLECTOMY

This is a 21-year-old male presenting with chronic nasal obstruction and difficulty breathing through the left nasal passage. On anterior rhinoscopy, a deviated nasal septum was noted, prompting further evaluation. A non-contrast CT scan of the paranasal sinuses revealed a significant leftward deviation of the nasal septum with an associated bony spur impinging on the lateral nasal wall. Additionally, a right-sided concha bullosa was identified, contributing to narrowing of the right nasal airway. The patient was scheduled for endoscopic septoplasty with partial middle turbinate reduction on the right. Under general anesthesia, a hemitransfixion incision was made, and submucoperichondrial dissection was carried out to expose the deviated cartilaginous and bony septum.
