2019 Kirby Avalir 2 (G10D) Upright Vacuum Cleaner

This was at the Family Thrift Center in Midlothian, Virginia for about $35 in its original box with the shampoo and hard floor system included. It did not need a full rebuild unlike most vacuum cleaners I get, but it did get a small refurbishment. I know they can be triggering to some, but these are extremely solid machines that are difficult to match in their carpet cleaning ability. This is the first of the Avalir 2 model that I have owned, but I have had other variants of the G10D. There does not seem to be much difference between this and the original Avalir, and the basic design dates all the way back to the late 1980s and being officially released in 1990 with the G3. It has stood the test of time in many ways, despite not being a perfect vacuum cleaner for today's market.
