Saving a Completely Destroyed Gretsch Acoustic Guitar | Restoration. Part 2

This old Gretsch acoustic guitar arrived at the workshop in terrible condition — and in this part, I focus on rebuilding its completely destroyed headstock. The break was severe, with large sections of wood missing around the truss rod area. In this video, I carry out the glue-up and reinforce the repair using two different methods to ensure long-term strength and stability. Step by step, the headstock begins to take shape again. After the structural work, I prepare the surface for a new decal — bringing this guitar one step closer to its original look. This is a complex and delicate process, and there’s still a lot of work ahead in the next parts. Can this shattered Gretsch guitar truly be saved?
