One thing that I know about movies made from the works of H.P. Lovecraft is that they're not always ocean themed, but that it can often factor into the plot, as many of the creatures he created have their origins as these kind of fish people. Again, while this doesn't always come up in his works, Dagon from what I can recall specifically centers around a creature from the ocean. In any case, I figure on this Friday the 13th, we should watch a scary movie for Film First Friday, and a Lovecraft film seems to support the channel theme of deep waters and the ocean, so... Dagon it is! Let's watch it! Film First streams are watch parties that will not feature audio or video from the media in question. Viewers will have the opportunity to watch it along with me.
