The players can select from 4 weapons to hunt with: Bolt-Action Rifle, Compound Bow, Revolver w/ scope, and Muzzleloader. They then can select to go hunting in Colorado, Idaho or Maine for bears or Montana, Utah or Alaska for moose. Every state is divide in two areas with six shooting spots to hunt the animal, after you complete the first area, a bonus game will be played, in this stage you have to shoot at more target you can in the least time possible. You get a score depending on how well you do. Obviously if you don't kill anything you don't get any points, and you lose a life. You have two lives, miss two timesd and you lose. If you get a one shot KO, you get lots of points. It's easiest to get one in the heart or head area. You know, less ammo used, more points, like in every game of this kind, including Big Buck Hunter. Besides the heard and head, some sensitive areas are the neck and ribs. Also, if you shoot them in the feet, they run much slower.
