(English Description) ‼️ NEVER leave food in your tent! Zipping it up won't help—they know how to open zippers. Locking it won't help either—they will simply bite through the tent fabric. You must carry all food with you at all times, or ensure someone is always guarding the tent. 🥵 Right after checking in, we left for just 10 minutes to fetch water, and all the food inside was wiped out. On the second day, we used S-hooks to lock the zippers before leaving, only leaving a small bag of trash containing orange peels. They bit through the tent and scattered the trash everywhere. 🤬 Every single one of our companions' tents was broken into. [Itinerary & Highlights] • 🚌 Transportation: Departed from Taipei to Pingtung. Stayed overnight at the "Mountaineering Story House" B&B. Started the hike from the New Trailhead at 6:00 AM. Remember to show your ID at the Old Trailhead checkpoint. • ⛰️ Mt. Xidawu: An extra detour at the 2.5km mark with light gear. Taking it slow for photos, the round trip took less than an hour. • ⛰️ Kuidori Cliff: Surrounded by mist on Day 1 with no view. However, on the return trip on Day 3, we enjoyed a breathtaking sea of clouds and the "Moonset." The early morning full moon hung above the clouds like a sun. • ⛺️ Accommodation: Stayed in tents provided by "A-Zhi Team" at Kuaigu Lodge. The tents were spacious and comfortable, and the meals were delicious and beautifully presented. • 🌙 The Summit Push: Started at 2:45 AM on Day 2 in the dark. The trail to the summit is a steep, slippery ascent involving ropes, rock climbing, chains, and U-shaped iron bars—a true test of physical endurance. Passed by Giant Red Cedars, the Takasago Volunteers Monument, and Dawu Shrine. • ☁️ The View: After dawn, the pine trees framed a vast sea of clouds, with the full moon suspended above like a morning sun. The stunning scenery accompanied us all the way to the Mt.
