Strikes across Middle East continue and death toll rises - watch ITV Lunchtime News live

Iran and allied armed groups are firing missiles at Israel, Arab states, and US military targets around the region on Monday as fighting across the Middle East continues to escalate. At least 555 people in Iran have been killed since US-Israeli airstrikes began targeting the country over the weekend, the Iranian Red Crescent Society said. Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes on Beirut and southern Lebanon on Monday killed at least 31 people and injured 149, according to Lebanon’s health ministry. US Central Command also said the death toll of American service members has risen to four after one person, who was "seriously injured during Iran's initial attacks, eventually succumbed to their injuries."
