WATCH | Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine delivers his final State of the State address

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine is set to deliver the 2026 State of the State address to a joint session of the General Assembly today at noon. This speech marks Gov. DeWine’s final State of the State address as he approaches the end of his term in office. While specific details of what Gov. DeWine will say during the State of the State address have not been announced, he shared the following message in a Facebook video that previews the speech: “As Ohio governor, I believe every Ohioan should have the chance to live up to his or her God-given potential," Gov. DeWine said. "My job as governor is to help pave that path. From Ohio’s big cities to our small rural counties and small villages, we plant a lot of seeds of opportunity for our children, for our families, for our communities, for the future. Many seeds are growing. Others will need more time to fully mature.
