I started this week with some great 10p finds in my Sainsbury’s shopping. Then my neighbour gave me some free food she didn’t want as she was going away for a few days, so that added to the free cherries and gooseberries I’d foraged for a few days earlier. ( do your own research when foraging). I was looking for inspiration what to cook, so I turned to my Grandma’s BeRo cookbook for a well loved pancake recipe. Here’s how I made cherry pancakes…the pancakes were cook in my Grandma’s cast iron skillet.😃. I ended the week catching up with a dear friend who I’ve known for nearly 40 years .
