The collection consists of ten original Maiden albums: "Iron Maiden", "Killers", "The Number of The Beast", "Piece of Mind", "Powerslave", "Live After Death", "Somewhere In Time", "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son", "No Prayer for The Dying", and "Fear of The Dark", all with original album cover artwork and original song running order. Each album is an individual 2CD set as pictured (there's no all-around slipcase or anything) where the second disc contains non-album tracks from the same time period each album was released: Studio recordings originally available only on 7-inch and 12-inch singles, live tracks, and cover versions of other rock giants' hits such as Jethro Tull, Free, Golden Earring, or Led Zeppelin. The total of these non-album bonus tracks on all 10 discs is no less than 46 !! Detailed descriptions of all 10 bonus discs are in the pictures above. Apart from the treasure trove of Maiden music, the collection is also visually stunning. Visuals were always very important to Maiden image, and Castle Records have done a terrific job to preserve them: Each 2CD set contains the regular album CD brochure, the album disc and the non-LP bonus disc both as full-color picture CDs with artwork from vintage Maiden singles, and an insert with full-color reproduction of the respective Maiden 12-inch single artwork on one side, and detailed description of featured bonus songs on the other. On top of that each of the 2CD sets have its own "obi" similar to those made famous by Japanese imports (although this being an American-made collection, the obi's are naturally English-only).
