UAE Ambassador Abdullah Saif Al Nuaimi 압둘라 사이프 알-누아이미 주한 UAE 대사 Last March, President Moon Jae-in paid a state visit to the UAE and agreed to elevate the Korea-UAE strategic relationship into a "special strategic partnership" with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Then in early November, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority of Abu Dhabi, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, met with Im Jong-seok, President Moon Jae-in's chief of staff, in Seoul to discuss the two countries' cooperation on defense industry issues, alternative energy and solar power generation technology as well as nuclear power plants. The two nations' relations are getting stronger by the year, if not the day.
