Earlier today I went over to Lawrence, KS to catch Amtrak SWC #4 over by the train station since he was running over 11 hours late due to issues the train had out west which gave me the opportunity to revisit one of the BNSF Topeka Sub crossings. After a 30 minute wait in the cold, I eventually heard a faint horn in the distance as the train was approaching a private crossing to the west of here followed by New York Ave's early activation sequence. The train would stop just before the crossing at around 4:30pm, and depart 1 minute later after arrival with Phase 5 P42s #15 and #151 leading with a nice horn salute! Thankfully no changes have occurred to this crossing since the last time I recorded here last year around April.
