Toy-Box performing Tarzan & Jane at the TMF Awards. Toy-Box, a Danish bubblegum pop group formed by vocalists Anila Mirza and Amir El-Falaki, gained popularity in the late 1990s. Their breakthrough came with the 1999 hit "Tarzan & Jane" from the album "Fantastic." Although "Best Friend" was released first, "Tarzan & Jane" achieved success in Scandinavian and Dutch music charts, reaching number 2 in the Dutch hit lists and number 15 on the Eurochart Hot 100. The group's debut album, "Fantastic," featured other hits like "The Sailor Song," "Super-Duper-Man," and "Teddybear." In 2001, they released their second album, "Toy Ride," which included fan-favorite songs like "www.girl," "Prince of Arabia," and "Wizard of Oz." After the initial success, Toy-Box disbanded, and the members pursued individual endeavors. El-Falaki worked as a dance teacher and choreographer, while Mirza, now known as Aneela, embarked on a solo career with limited success. In 2017, Toy-Box reunited to perform at the Vi Elsker 90'erne events in Denmark, joining other iconic 1990s acts like Aqua and Vengaboys. Despite the group's breakup, fans were delighted by their return to the stage, marking a nostalgic comeback for Toy-Box. Watch more TMF videos ► https://bit.ly/MoreTMF Join us.
