I Caught a Brown Trout with my BARE HANDS | Catch and Cook | New Mexico

On this episode Erica and I have a night at camp where I cook a gourmet burger, while she reads a book by the fire. The next morning, we make eggs over an open fire, and drive to a mountain lake with stunning New Mexico views. On our journey, we find a well-preserved church from the 1700's with six-foot thick adobe mud walls! We unload the kayaks, explore the lake, fish from our boats and find a fresh, cold water spring that feeds into the lake. With much determination, I catch a brown trout with my bare hands, while Erica hunts for rocks and nearby treasures. After supper at a local favorite cantina, we begin our ascent into the national forest where camp is set up, not making it 5 minutes on the road where we decide to spontaneously stop at a local Culture Festival.
