The Arhuaco are an Indigenous people of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in northern Colombia. They are one of the four ancestral groups who see themselves as the guardians of the “Heart of the World,” living in deep relationship with nature, spirit, and sacred law. Their way of life is rooted in balance, spiritual practice, and caring for the Earth. Currently, their land is being illegally deforested at an alarming rate.
