Santosh Iyer, MD & CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, told Business Today that the company’s upcoming entry-level luxury EV developed in partnership with NVIDIA will effectively house the computing power of four supercomputers in one vehicle, underscoring the shift towards software-defined cars. Expected to be priced under ₹60 lakh, the model is positioned to drive strong volumes, with deliveries set to begin from April. Mercedes-Benz is also enabling seamless ownership by integrating access to over 9,000 charging stations. Iyer noted that nearly 25% of current sales already come from top-end vehicles.
