Welcome to my channel. Today i have my recipe for delicious meat & potato samosa's for you to try. A great recipe for Ramadan 2024. Be sure to try it out for yourself. Ingredients; Dough: 600g Flour 1 Tbsp Salt 1 Tsp Ajwain seeds 100 ml Oil 300 ml Water Flour Paste: 4 Tbsp Flour 100 ml Water Mince: 2 Tbsp Oil 600g Mince 1 Tbsp Salt 2 Tsp Cumin seeds 1 Tbsp Ginger / Garlic 1 Tsp Ground Chilli Flakes 1 Tsp Corriander Powder 1/4 Tsp Black Pepper 1 Tsp Chaat Masala 6-7 Chopped Green Chilli's 4 Diced Potatoes ( Boiled ) Method; Add the flour to a bowl then add 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp Ajwain seeds & 100ml oil. Combine all the ingredients well. Add the oil in 2 parts. Now add water as and when needed while needing the dough. Roll into a ball and set aside for later. Now get a seperate small bowl and add 4 tbsp flour & 100ml water. We are looking for a thin paste finish which we will use later to seal the samosa's. Now get a pan and add 2 tbsp oil & the 600g of mince followed by 1 tbsp salt & 2 tbsp cumin seeds. Combine the ingredients into the mince. Once mince starts to brown slightly add 1 tbsp ginger/garlic. Cover & cook for around 10 minutes. Now add 1 tsp ground chilli flakes, 1 tsp corriander powder, 1/4 tsp black pepper. Stir in all the ingredients. Add 1 tsp chaat masala. Now cook until all the liquid has dried, remembering to stir every now and then. Now add the chopped green chilli's & diced potatoes & cook for a further 5 minutes. Set aside for later. Now get some dough and roll around in your hand until you make a little round ball. Flour your surface and roll out the dough ball. Cook on a pan for around 10 seconds. Now cut down the middle. Get one half and fold over, apply the flour paste & fold over the other half. Push down the crease to make sure both sides stick. Now add around 2 tbsp of the filling & apply the flour paste to the top. Go along the top pinching together. Finally you can use a fork and press along the edge to make sure the parcel has a good seal. Now add to oil & fry until golden brown.
