This Steeldrivers song has been popping up as a request in the past few years. It has become a standard at weddings, and we can only guess how many couples have made it "their song". This year at Augusta Bluegrass week it was a cosmic moment when the songwriter & founding member of the Steeldrivers, Tammy Rogers King, called me & Grant Flick to join her in performing it at the Staff Concert. We were both honored, of course! `Here we are at rehearsal. I think the performance went just as well! Tammy is as genuine a soul as you will ever meet, so it is appropriate that she would pen a song that means so much to so many. "I Choose You" was co-written by Thomm Jutz, and appears on the Steeldrivers 2020 album release, Bad For You. Here I am playing my West Virginia-made John Rossbach D-18 style guitar, "Lorena".
