Get the Game For Free Here → https://goo.gl/2kd8DK Release Date: 1994 Developer: Looking Glass Technologies, Inc. Publisher: EA & Origin Systems Game Type: First-Person Shooter / Sci-Fi Survival Horror What a mix bagged of emotions it is to play this game again. As much as I hold great memories of it. I'm a little dismayed at how the controls definitely did not age well. All the novel ideas such as leaning and looking up/down are implemented in such a rigid way that it rather bogs down the experience rather than enrich it. The leaning mechanic you can avoid. See ignore. But looking up and down is rather central to the game. With your eyesight being rather high, when you want to interact with anything that's on the ground (see mostly all the inventory items and bodies to loot) you will have to look down. Although Ultima Underworld uses the same mechanic the amount of times you will need to look up and down is considerably less. Making the novel mechanic fun, and useful at times. But not essential with is my main point of contention about it. It just feels more like you are in a mech than inhabiting the body of a hacker sent to hack Shodan. Something like graphics I can always overlook. But stifling controls makes it hard to lose yourself in a game. Still deserves all the praises it has. But one can't overlook the control problem. It's a bit of a pain.
