Even the pouring rain did not scare the artists and guests — everyone gathered on the streets of the city and enjoyed the music. More than 380 thousand people took part in the event: musicians, organizers, volunteers, technical specialists, representatives of city services and cultural institutions, employees of cafes and bars, shops and restaurants and, of course, spectators. A variety of musical genres were presented at Ural Music Night: from folk jazz to glitter pop, punk metal to hip-hop, from academic music to drum and bass, from post-minimalism to krautrock. The night from June 28 to 29 became the most musical of the year thanks to more than 3,000 musicians from all over Russia and other countries. Among them were artists from Armenia, Georgia, the Republic of Ghana, Argentina, Colombia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and others. "The Yekaterinburg audience left a special impression, because such a soulful listener can be wished for any group. A lottery in the life of a performer is a good listener. Here all the components coincided," notes the artistic director of the Gnessin ensemble of contemporary choral music Altro Coro Alexander Ryzhinsky. It was possible to hear different performers at 106 venues. And online broadcasts were conducted from 13 in Russian and English. Anyone could listen to the musicians through the festival website, on the air of the OTV and Channel 4 TV channels, in the project group on the VKontakte network, as well as on the Okko streaming service. A novelty of 2024 was an online broadcast in Chinese, which was conducted on the TikTok social network and gained more than 20 thousand views. In total, the broadcast on all streaming services was watched by 7 million viewers from 25 regions of Russia and 24 countries of the world. One of the festival's goals is to increase the prestige and tourist attractiveness of the region. In 2024, more than 80 thousand guests from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Tyumen, Samara, Kemerovo, Yoshkar-Ola and other cities of Russia came to Yekaterinburg to participate in the "Ural Night of Music". For the fourth year, the festival has had an inclusive program. In 2024, 10 large stages were equipped for people with disabilities. The performances of the groups Therr Maitz, Cream Soda, "TOP" were translated into Russian sign language. At the venues, visitors were assisted by 60 Inclusive Event volunteers who had undergone special training. In total, more than 350 volunteers took part in the festival. Traditionally, the festival program ended at dawn with the "It's Dawning" event. The audience performed the song “The night will pass, the clear morning will come...” together with the chamber orchestra B-A-C-H, the group Therr Maitz, the organizers and volunteers of Ural Music Night.
