This mini-documentary explores #Grime - the UK's most cherished homegrown culture from 2002 to now. Made for decade-long and brand-new Grime fans alike, I aim to dispel a lot of confusion as to what Grime really is. From Wiley to Stormzy, Rinse FM to Radio 1, and Channel U to SBTV, a lot of the key events, people and platforms have been covered. This #Documentary will contain interviews, music videos, sets, freestyles, stage shows and more, representing Grime from it's roots to it's success. ABOUT: This was a first attempt at informative content, and may be quite amateur audio-visually in some areas, but the aim is to educate. This essay was made in response to the growing hype and use of 'Grime' in media. I have been listening to Grime for 15+ years, and was one of the first types of music I ever heard. So a lot of this is based off of personal experience with the culture.
