What happens to patient care when equity and inclusion are under threat? Research has made it clear that patients experience better health outcomes, greater satisfaction and stronger trust in their providers when care is culturally responsive and reflects racial, ethnic and language concordance. Yet we are currently witnessing shifts in health policy, reductions in funding, limits on research priorities and changes in clinical practices that threaten to dismantle hard-earned gains in health equity. How can we actively mobilize and protect providers, community health workers, home health aides, and policymakers to ensure that diverse patient populations are not pushed further to the margins? Listen to this dynamic group of panelists explore this question: Ilana Berger; M. Greg Green, CCHW; and Robert Rock, MD, MHS. Moderated by Ashley D.
