The India AI Impact Summit 2026 held in New Delhi from February 16 to 21 concluded with the adoption of the New Delhi Declaration on AI Impact, marking a significant milestone in global cooperation on artificial intelligence. The AI Impact Summit brought together government representatives, technology companies, academic researchers and startup founders and discussions focused on regulatory clarity, innovation incentives, and responsible AI deployment across sectors. Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed the need for human-centric and inclusive AI. The Prime Minister also met global tech CEOs and leaders during the summit. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said 88 countries signed the AI declaration supporting responsible AI.
