Follow me in this video as I go take my first hang gliding lesson in 10 years. I’m so excited to have signed up for a full package of lessons through “Wasatch Hang Gliding” (wasatchhg.com) which should get me to my H2 and beyond. In this first lesson I learn how to setup a hang glider, review the pre-flight check, learn the 4 C’s of my hang-check (carabiner, clearance, chin, and cheeks), learn about kiting the hang glider, watch my instructor launch off of the top of the Point of the Mountain (south side) and fly to the bottom LZ, and make my own first attempts to fly!
