I have an overall GPA of 3.72 and a passion for cardiovascular research. I am hoping to find a research opportunity in cardiovascular research this summer. Your work interests me as it delves into how to better promote Hypertension management in communities, which is a problem I frequently observed when volunteering at my local community health center. This has made me passionate about researching culturally competent methods for improving cardiovascular health at the community level. I have become confident with analyzing large datasets using R, after taking Biostatistics for the Biological Sciences and getting a grade of 91% in the course. I realize statistical analysis is an important part of many research projects and I am eager to apply my skills in a research setting.
