Dash-Cam Video Catches Scary Encounter On NJ Turnpike

A dash-cam video has gone viral showing a pretty scary situation that took place on the New Jersey Turnpike over the weekend. Around midnight on Sunday, Ivan Tukhtin was driving his car on the Newark Bay Extension of the Turnpike leading to the Holland Tunnel. All of a sudden, you can see that he comes to an abrupt stop because two orange traffic cones were impeding the two lanes. The video shows a car parked on the side of the road and one man slowly approaching Tukhtin's vehicle. You hear him ask "What's going on? Can I help you with something?" Tukhtin said that's when the man reached into his pocket and he got spooked and sped off before calling the police. “As I was approaching them I stopped and I was like ‘what the f**** going on?' because really that's what comes to mind, it's like this is ridiculous,” Tukhtin shared.
