Recorded live at the iconic Paradiso in Amsterdam, this performance took place during the release party of the band's latest album, Utopia, in June 2025. She Ella is a powerful anthem of post-humanistic, feminist futurism from Snowapple Collective. The song unfolds in two acts: the first, dark and wistful, with a haunting blend of electronics and rising strings; the second, a shift to something more upbeat and poppy. Eva Schumacher’s (our in-house director) lyrics reflect both a deep yearning for escape and a bittersweet sense of surrender - like dropping your weapons after an inner battle. The video captures the tension between hope and resignation, offering a glimpse of a world where there is no true winner. This live performance is a glimpse into Snowapple Collective's world: an immersive experience that fuses bold soundscapes, poetic lyrics, and a captivating stage presence. She Ella and the Utopia album are available to stream on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer. The Utopia CD and Vinyl are available to purchase on Snowapple’s Shopify.
