Thin / Wiped Film Evaporators: The Wiped Film Evaporator (WFE) is used for the processing, scraping, distillation, deodorization, and dehydration of heat sensitive or viscous items. The equipment can accommodate a wide variety of feed compositions ranging from 1% to concentration above 95%. WFE has plenty of advantages. The process continues with one pass; the thin film is formed and renewed by the self-cleaning continuous contact wipers. Such activity increases product yield, and prevents the creation of residues and colours. It has an (optional) internal condenser that minimizes the decrease in pressure and maintains vacuum. The WFE operating process is simple where the feed is inserted at the top of the unit and distributed through the revolving distribution plate onto the shell inner surface. Specially built wipers can clean the feed and thus build and renew the video. This thin film makes heat transfer effective also for highly viscous fluids. The low boiling portion evaporates, passing through a separator for the entertainment. It minimizes liquid droplet movement along with the vapours..
