Unauthorized use or re-upload is prohibited. ------------------------------------------------ 노을 이소정 시인 귀현리 해변에 노을이 지자 파도가 집으로 돌아오고 있다 바다에 나간 어부가 집으로 돌아오듯 파도들도 따라서 돌아오고 있다 아버지는 내가 깨기 전 늘 과수원으로 일하러 가셨다 자두 열매 익은 향에 적셔진 아버지가 들어서면 내 코밑까지 달큼함이 밀려 왔다 어머니는 아버지를 대청마루에 앉히고 흙과 먼지투성이의 발을 씻어주셨다 어머니는 노을 빛깔 같은 고추장에 버무린 비빔국수를 식탁에 올려놓으셨다 비빔국수로 배를 채운 우리들은 국수처럼 긴 잠에 빠져들었고 막걸리에 불콰해진 아버지는 어머니와 밤늦도록 이야기를 나누셨다. 귀현리 해변에 노을이 지자 파도가 집으로 돌아오고 있었다. Sunset by Poet Lee So-jung At the shore of Gwihyeon-ri, as the sun sets, the waves are coming home. As a fisherman returning from the sea, the waves too return behind him. Before I woke, Father always left for the orchard to work. When he stepped inside, soaked in the scent of ripening plums, a sweetness drifted right up beneath my nose. Mother seated Father on the wooden floor hall and washed his feet covered with soil and dust. Mother set on the table bibim-guksu mixed with gochujang the color of sunset. After filling our bellies with the noodles, we fell into a sleep long as the strands of noodles. Father, his face flushed with makgeolli, talked with Mother late into the night.
