With Dubai airports reportedly shut and conditions tense, they travelled by taxi to Muscat, crossing the UAE-Oman border and securing visas on arrival after long waits. From Muscat, they managed to board a flight to India, though ticket prices were nearly ten times higher than usual—rising from around ₹15,000-₹20,000 to nearly ₹1.5 lakh per person.
