Today we’re traveling to old neighborhoods in Bangkok along Chao Phraya River. We’ll ride Chao Phraya Express Boat from Sathorn pier, which is the central pier and get off at 4 piers. The first stop is Rachawong pier, and explore Song Wat road. It’s a historic road with a blend of shophouses, cafes and art galleries. Lately, it’s got a new hip spot. We’ll visit the neighbors, Talad Noi and China Town as well. The second stop is Prannok pier, and explore Wang Lang Market. Very vibrant, it’s a perfect place for those looking for authentic local sweets and food. The third stop is Phra Athit pier, and explore Phra Athit road. It’s the road lined with cute cafes and restaurants where we can taste local flavours. It’s closed to Khao San road, which is known as a backpacker haven. The last stop is Nonthaburi pier, and explore Nonthaburi market.
