Pure Power 11 FM: https://amzn.to/3fNZl5p Samsung 980 Pro NVMe PCIe 4.0: https://amzn.to/3fJHAEf Today we’re taking a look at the Cooler Master V SFX Platinum rated 1100 watt psu. A mouthful but it's a pretty interesting product. The V1100 is an SFX PSU that supports loads of up to 1100w in SFX and not SFX-L size. That seems pretty significant to me, I'll have up on screen how big this PSU is in my hand, it's pretty amazing how small this PSU is and it’s capable of delivering more power than the PSUs in any gaming rig I have ever built actually. This tiny PSU is really geared for some crazy cool type of builds, SFX builds with I9’s or Ryzen 9’s and like a 4090. Thankfully this PSU is Titanium rated so its relatively efficient versus typical gold rated PSUs. The V1100 does have ATX 3.0 support and it includes a 90 degree 12vh power cable which is a nice touch in my opinion. The PSU is fully modular but interestingly the connectors on the PSU side seem to extend out from the PSU body. I think they did this to enhance overall compatibility by making the PSU’s housing just a tiny bit shorter. This Power Supply comes in at 100mil by 125mil by 63.5 mil at a net weight of 4.29lbs. Now in my build here, I don’t actually have an SFX setup to install this into but luckily the PSU comes with an ATX to SFX mounting bracket, I like that this is included and it seems to be a decent thickness and quality. The PSU housing seems solid, I think it looks good too. As this is an 1100w capable PSU, you’re definitely not going to want to reuse any older power cables you have laying around, notice how they include a huge beefy power cable? Well if you’re going to draw near the max, you're going to want to use that cable. Cooler master says that between the capacitor choices, the integrated transformer, rectifier, and full bridge llc design, that’s kind of the key for how they could produce an SFX PSU that can run up to 1100w without melting down inside of your case. They also site the difference in transformer and the flat wire design as helping to reduce airflow restriction and overall heat. 🔥 Cool Stuff on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3B6Gqru 🔥🔥 Looking for parts?
