Another brickfilm drop this year! Did you see that coming? I certainly didn’t. And a brickfilm set in my Spider-Man universe? Thank my university course for making me film this! In all seriousness, I didn’t expect to make this one at all. The premise of this one was actually based on a scrapped Spider-Man project that I had written up (of the same name). But I never actually moved forward with this idea because 1) it would’ve taken time away from Spider-Man and Silk (like half a year at least), and 2) I changed up quite a bit of stuff in my Spider-Man lore since then, so some of the things in the script wouldn’t have held up anyway. But in the second half of the semester, I was tasked with making another film; after having listened to Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada’s JANE DOE so many times, I decided to revisit the idea in the form of a music video. I probably put a lot more effort into this project than necessary for a course project, but the end goal was ultimately for you guys to see it, so I don’t mind (and minus some lows, it was fun making this one). Anyway, hope you guys enjoy this somewhat unrelated prequel to Spider-Man and Silk, and hopefully it’ll satiate you all for the time being. Especially since Spider-Man and Silk won’t be done for… a while. But I promise it will come out eventually, especially with how much that project matters to me.
